The Spark of an Idea

Our curiosity for Mexican food ignited in 2017 when we travelled through beautiful Latin America & spent 6 months immersed in the richness of Central and South America.

First stop was Mexico City where we were luckily enough to be hosted by our long-term pen pal and her Mexican partner who were avid food fanatics. For us, it was the first time we heard the claim that "Mexico has the world's best street food". It wasn't long thereafter that we were convinced this was also our opinion.

That's when Señor Salsa evolved

While our food truck and catering services brought the fiesta to events across Adelaide, we realised something important: people wanted to recreate that magic at home. The requests kept coming, "Where can I buy your salsa?" "Can you bottle that sauce?" "How do I make tacos like yours?"

Our salsas are crafted from traditional recipes using only the finest ingredients, ensuring each bite bursts with freshness and authentic flavours. Handcrafted in small batches, they are free from preservatives, gluten, and animal products, making them suitable for vegans and those seeking natural, wholesome foods
